Thank you to the Dallastown Girls Volleyball Booster Club for their donation of $1,000 that was raised at the Clash for the Cure Volleyball Game.  This donation was in honor of their coaches father, Greg Bortner.  

Joy Graybeal was working at the Steelton mill when her back started hurting. Nobody, including her doctors, thought it unusual that a woman working full time and raising two grandchildren would have aches and pains.

Thank you to Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union for allowing their employees to have a "dress down" day to benefit Vickie's Angel Foundation.  There are so many ways that, you too, can raise money to help local families fighting cancer.

We would like to thank Mindteck for their donation of $2,500.  This time of year, many people have no fuel for their oil tanks.  This will fill quite a few tanks and keep a lot of families warm.   Thank you so much!

Vickie's Angels are already busy planning 2018's events, and trying to make this year our best year yet.  We'd like to thank all of our volunteers, guardian angels and sponsors who helped make 2017 so very special for many local families fighting cancer. 

As 2017 has now come to an end, please take a moment to enjoy a few photos from this year's annual Christmas gift party.  Each year Vickie's Angel Foundation partners with local businesses to purchase Christmas gifts for the children of the families we help.  We had a wonderful time here at the office meeting families and spending time together. 

We cannot thank Mike Boarman, and his charity the Water Day Foundation, enough for their generous gift of $20,000.  Yes, you read that right!  This was donated in memory of his dear friend Randy Robertson.  As always, 100% of the $20,000 will go to local families fighting cancer.

Well, the numbers are finally in!  SMT's 13th annual Turkey Trot held this year raised over $42,000 for local families fighting cancer.  Wow.  This well-organized and successful event had over 2,700 participants, including one turkey dog!  We cannot thank the organizers, Mari Lynn Dare and Brad Pate, enough for all the hard work that goes into pulling off such a large event.

The presents are really starting to pile up here at Vickie's Angel Foundation.  Santa will be here tomorrow from 1 to 4PM with cookies to give out gifts to the children of local families that we are helping.  Thank you to the following businesses who partnered with us:  Sass Salon, McKonly & Asbury, Medicine Shoppe, Tristan, and Select Medical New Cumberland and Mechanicsburg.      We hope all these families have a peaceful holiday surrounded by love.

Reclectic Home Decor is once again raising funds for VAF through the sale of Mini Bouquets at Nest Egg Interiors. The campaign began in mid-March and will wrap up just after Mother's Day.   ALL proceeds benefit Vickie's Angel Foundation.

The Extraordinary Give is Lancaster County's Largest Day of Giving. For the past five years, in just 120 hours of giving, the Extraordinary Give has raised $22.5 million for more than 500 organizations!
