News About A Cruise

The American Legion Riders of Post 143 want you to go sailing and riding.

First, a cruise, then a ride -- a motorcycle ride, if you like -- for two.  That's what the American Legion Riders of Post 143 in New Cumberland are offering in a raffle at 50 bucks a pop.  100% of net proceeds raised will benefit the Vickie's Angel Foundation, which helps families battling cancer pay their bills.

The all-inclusive cruise is for seven days in May, starting May 20, 2018.  The Celebrity Summit will leave from New Jersey and sail to Bermuda (you'll need a passport).  It includes an ocean-view room, $900 drink package, gratuities, and bikers can/should bring their two-wheelers (not the three-wheel types) as they ride around the island with an escort; it also includes motorcycle and island fees, permits and gas.  The winning package is worth $4,000.  If the winning twosome prefers to leave their bikes at home, well, that's OK -- they can enjoy the rest of the lineup of benefits.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the annual Vickie's Angel Foundation Valentine's dance in February, and the holder of the winning ticket need not be present at the dance to earn his prize.

Two consolidation prizes of $500 and $250 also will be awarded.
