The Pennsylvania Cancer Education Network (PCEN) is a statewide initiative funded by the Department of Health and partial funding from a grant the Department receives for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The PCEN works to implement and evaluate a uniform, consistent approach to prostate, colorectal, ovarian, and skin cancer education that will inform PA residents, increase appropriate screening behaviors, decrease cancer incidence, and increase the concentration of evidence-based cancer education in Pennsylvania.
